Yes, I met the Nydals back in my late teens when Buddhism was very new in Denmark. And I met Lopon Tsechu Rinpoche on my first visit to Nepal in 1975.

Dear anonymous,
I have no idea what you mean by restrained, obviousely theres some story to that which I don't care to hear. But I wanted to know if Eik had met them because Iam a student of Lama Ole and other Karma Kagyu lamas with Karmapa Thaye Dorje and I greatly appreciate Eriks work and am inspired by his example of a westerner that has practised for so long.
All my teachers speak very very highly of Tulku Urgyen Rinpoche and I have really benefited from many of the teachings Erik has translated from his own teacher.

Lets try and get beyond our own personal trips and recognize what our teachers are always explaining to us.

best wishes
