Travels in Tibet and Nangchen, Nepal and Sikkim

Marcia and I traveled through Nangchen in the autumn 2003 and visited many of the locations in Tulku Urgyen Rinpoche's memoirs -- one of the best trips in my life. I have put a lot of the photos of Chokgyur Lingpa terma revelation places up on the net and other photos are in Blazing Splendor itself (which I am happy to shamelessly promote).
Some of the pictures are slideshows on http://www.rangjung.com/nangchen/index.html

Yes, in 2003 Kawa Karpo was the main place of pilgrimage and two of Tulku Urgyen's nieces went there right after we left Nangchen with a truck full of people. The sacred mountain is about two or three days south-east of Jegu (main city in Nangchen) and can take a week or two to walk around.

I lived in Kha ba dkar po for more than one year and a half starting in 2003 and living in the villages on its slopes and tried to reconstruct all the sacred network related to the mountain. I would be
really grateful if you could let me know any information on the relation between Urgyen Rinpoche, Nangchen area and the mountain cult of Kha ba dkar po. Any help shall be acknowledge in my phd thesis and future publications.
Giovanni.

I know very little. There were a guidebook or two in Tibetan floating around which the pilgrims were bringing along for the trek. Maybe someone knows about it. Would you mind if I post this question on the Blazing Blog? It might help you.
