Hey Erik, as i was under the impression that other than his guru yoga Tulku Urgyen hadn't written anything else, perhaps you could explain this statement from the article, "He was so inspired that he also wrote a lot of preliminary text in this cave and took them back to be translated into English. Western disciples then expanded on it.”

Never heard of a text written by Tulku Urgyen Rinpoche, but he did order me to translate two version of his favorite Padmasambhava practice, a famous chant known as Calling the Guru from Afar, and - possibly the meant - a chant for the important preliminary practices, known as "Seed of Enlightenment". The drafts were completed in the Ipoh Cave and finalized over the years.
